Juliane Oberlinger

Since 2013, I have felt connected to the NAW (Natural Awareness Movement). Here, I found and continue to find an opportunity to practice mindfulness, bringing it from the meditation cushion into everyday life, and to share my experiences. From the very beginning, I appreciated the NAW's open-mindedness, which allows everyone to join and practice mindfulness.

I have been practicing meditation regularly since 2009 and am firmly rooted in the Plum Village tradition. Since 2018, I have received training in various (secular) mindfulness-based course formats. For several years, I have been offering mindfulness-based courses and workshops in Schriesheim. Furthermore, since 2022, I have been leading regular mindfulness sessions on Monday mornings at my workplace to start the week. The feedback I receive on these activities continually reaffirms that practicing mindfulness is beneficial to many people.

... Connecting and supportive relationships are important to me, and mindfulness helps me achieve this more easily and frequently. Maintaining a mindful attitude is particularly challenging when working on the computer and in video conferences. Consistent practice and exchanging ideas about it, along with new approaches to integrating mindfulness into everyday (office) life, help me. Developing a mindful approach touches all aspects of life and, for me, is the foundation for the urgently needed change in business and the world.

Support the
Network for Mindful Business e.V.

We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations to pursue its long-term goals. Donations are, for us, "warm money," often called "Dana" in Buddhist terminology. Dana represents giving freely and without ulterior motives to support beneficial causes. Dana is loving-kindness and goodwill, enabling the Buddha's wisdom teachings to flow powerfully onward.
