Barbara Boy
For many years, I have supported individuals and organizations through change processes. I combine my experience as a leader in professional development with my work as a mindful organizational development consultant and as a meditation, mindfulness, and yoga teacher.
I have been associated with NAW and the Cologne regional group since 2012. For me, mindful business practices are not just an idea, but a lived reality in everyday work, in organizations, and in my courses with employees and managers. At NAW, I contribute these experiences and create spaces for exchange, reflection, and concrete practice.
My work is characterized by many years of meditation practice and intensive retreat experience, including as a teacher. Mindfulness is the foundation for how we interact and collaborate.
Through Buddhist practice, I have developed a more compassionate perspective on people and make decisions more consciously, considering whether they are beneficial for myself and others.
Mindful business practices are not just an idea for me, but a lived reality in my daily work, in my organizations, and in my courses with employees and managers. I am concerned with the question of how we can remain mindful and compassionate despite the omnipresent uncertainty and pressure.

Network for Mindful Business e.V.
We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations to pursue its long-term goals. Donations are, for us, "warm money," often called "Dana" in Buddhist terminology. Dana represents giving freely and without ulterior motives to support beneficial causes. Dana is loving-kindness and goodwill, enabling the Buddha's wisdom teachings to flow powerfully onward.
