Würzburg Regional Group
About Us
Please describe your group here - old text: We want to offer a space for exchange and networking for all people interested in the topics of mindfulness in the workplace, mindful handling of money, and mindful consumption. We support each other in reminding ourselves to treat ourselves and others mindfully in our everyday environment. During our meetings, we practice sitting and walking meditation together, and exchange ideas through mindful speaking and listening on the chosen topic and our own specific mindfulness practices.
Mindfulness is a trainable state of mind that illuminates all our mental and physical actions. When our mindfulness is strong, we see things more clearly and with less distortion. We see the impact of our thoughts, viewpoints, and actions on ourselves and others. We see the cultivation of mindfulness as a much-needed remedy for our economic activities, including our work, our handling of money, and our consumption. Our body and mind are significantly shaped by our work environment. Therefore, it is both sensible and necessary to maintain our mindfulness at work. Regularly pausing during the workday is of particular importance. Our daily work will change positively when we learn to listen attentively without judging or reacting. The Würzburg regional group of the NAW (Natural Awareness Working Group) has been meeting since February 2013 and holds regular mindfulness afternoons approximately every six weeks. We invite you to join us and experience the insights and perspectives that resonate with you. You are welcome to connect with us and, together in an atmosphere of mindfulness, look at our surroundings and our actions with fresh eyes. We are guided by the mindfulness practice of Thich Nhat Hanh.

Network for Mindful Business e.V.
We are a non-profit organization that relies on donations to pursue its long-term goals. Donations are, for us, "warm money," often called "Dana" in Buddhist terminology. Dana represents giving freely and without ulterior motives to support beneficial causes. Dana is loving-kindness and goodwill, enabling the Buddha's wisdom teachings to flow powerfully onward.
